Bogatyńskie [bɔɡaˈtɨɲskʲɛ] (German Tüngen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Orneta, within Lidzbark County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Orneta, 33 km (21 mi) west of Lidzbark Warmiński, and 45 km (28 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.

While traditionally Prussian, with the Second Peace of Thorn in 1466 the area became part of the Kingdom of Poland until 1772, 1772-1945 Kingdom of Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).

The village Tungen in Prussia is where the Old Prussian family of Nicolaus von Tüngen (or Tungen), bishop of Warmia from 1467 until 1489, came from. In 1347, ancestors of von Tüngen, the Prussian Fürstbischof vom Ermland (Prince-Bishop of Warmia), the brothers Gunthe, Namir, Warpune and Sander were recorded.
