Bogaletch Gebre

Bogaletch Gebre (born July 27, 195x, exact year unknown) is an Ethiopian women's-rights activist. She is the co-founder of KMG Ethiopia (formerly known as Kembatti Mentti Gezzimma).

  • The 2005 North-South Prize (along with Bob Geldof)
  • The 2007 Jonathan Mann Award for Global Health and Human Rights.
  • The 2012-13 King Baudouin International Development Prize for her determination to empower the women of Ethiopia and establish a true community-based movement for social change[1]
