Boda is a town and a nagar panchayat in Rajgarh district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] the village Boda had a population of 8511. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Boda has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 71% and female literacy of 40%. 16% of the population is under 6 years of age. It has Higher Secondary school for boys and girls. One of its main attractions is Andheria Bagh which is a historic temple of the Goddess Durga. A government hospital is situated on the Road of Andheria Bagh.

Political History

The Indian National Congress in Boda has been ruling for a long time because of Mr. Dhool singh Yadav, who is the former M.L.A. of Narsinghgarh Tehsil who made his public image in a very short period of time. The president of nagar panchayat in Boda from 2009–Present is Mr. Bhagwan singh Bagdi of the Indian National Congress party.
