The Blue-throated Motmot (Aspatha gularis) is a species of bird in the Momotidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Aspatha.[citation needed] It is found in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
