Bludzie Wielkie [ˈblud͡ʑɛ ˈvjɛlkʲɛ] (German: Groß Bludszen, 1928-1936 Bludszen, 1936-1938 Bludschen, 1938-1945 Forsthausen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dubeninki, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Dubeninki, 18 km (11 mi) east of Gołdap, and 148 km (92 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
