Blodhemn is the fourth studio album by Norwegian progressive black metal band Enslaved. It was released in 1998, through Osmose Productions.
Background
The album was produced by Peter Tägtgren, and is the only Enslaved album recorded and produced at his Abyss studio. Though still retaining a good portion of their Viking metal sound, the general approach to Blodhemn is a generally violent black metal hearkening back to the savagery of Frost.
