Blink is a SIP client. Blink is distributed as free software under version 3 of the GPL license. For Mac OS X there is a paid Pro version available.[1]
The application is written in Python and Cocoa, a Qt port for Windows and Linux is also available. It is based on the SIP Simple Client SDK.
It uses Session Initiation Protocol for signaling and features beyond voice over IP also include instant messaging, file transfer sessions based on MSRP protocol and remote desktop sharing using RFB protocol (VNC) .
