Blemish is the sixth solo album by David Sylvian. It is experimental in its use of electronics and sound. It features Derek Bailey, an avant-garde guitarist, and Fennesz, a guitarist and electronic music musician. It was released in 2003. It is one of the most painful listening experiences Sylvian has committed to record. It documents the disintegration of his relationship with Ingrid Chavez. Akin, somewhat to Here My Dear by Marvin Gaye or Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan but much less fun
