Blank Slate is an initiative run by UK film production company B3 Media that seeks to develop and nurture film making talent from a minority background. It is funded by the UK Film Council, and receives additional support from media partners including Film 4 and Skillset.
Films produced within the scheme are made with a maximum budget of £15,000 and have a final running time of between 5 and 15 minutes. Films are shot with high end digital equipment, including most recently, the Red One camera.
