The Black-throated Wattle-eye (Platysteira peltata) is a species of bird in the Platysteiridae family. It is found in Angola, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Somalia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
