BitGamer is a defunct invite-only major private Bittorrent tracker (which launched in 2006 as a side project of Underground Gamer) that shut down on January 1, 2013 due to ongoing concerns regarding Copyright infringement, recent piracy crackdowns (such as Megaupload) and international copyright law.[1] Shortly after, BitGAMER released a massive archive of all 21k tracked torrents which quickly made its way to public websites, especially its former massive GoG.com collection.[2] BitGAMER's quality, transparency, community participation, openness and staff friendliness has been regarded of high quality throughout the Bittorrent community.
Diaspora
Members of BitGamer typically either transferred to BlackCats-Games[3] or GazelleGames.[4]
