Bindhu Pamarthi is a pageant titleholder from Chapel Hill, North Carolina[1] who competed in the Miss America pageant in September 2013.[2]
Pamarthi was crowned Miss District of Columbia 2013 on Sunday, June 9, 2013, on the 60th anniversary of the Miss District of Columbia Pageant.[3] Her talent was Bollywood Dance and her platform was "Tolerance Upside-down: Intolerance for Blind Consumerism.”.[3]
A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina,[1] she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill[1] and currently attends law school full-time at Georgetown Law Center.[2]
