Binchy Bridge
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Binchy Bridge is the proposed name of a new bridge linking Marlborough Street to Hawkins Street in Dublin. Named in honour of Maeve Binchy, proposals to name the bridge after the writer began upon her death in July 2012.[1] It follows the Dublin tradition of naming bridges after Irish writers, i.e. Samuel Beckett Bridge, Seán O'Casey Bridge, James Joyce Bridge.[2][3][4]
