AS bilot sharif is an old historic village; in spite these saints, there is also an old Hindu fort on the hills of bilot sharif which know as "kafar kot" in local saraiki language. nowadays, this fort has been totally converted to a recreational and a picnic placce where tourists and local plebians visit. but in history if we go backword than we will know that this fort was "raja Til's" palace; The king or emperor of old bilot city. believing on books and many other local sources; a baby born in the palace of raja til named by "raja bil". the emperor set the name of his village at the name of his infant son which was "Bil-Kot". after some years Muslims attacked on his little kigdom and won the bil-kot. by the influence of Muslim society the name of bil-kot stealthely changed into "bilot". when hazrat peer shah eisa and his ancestors came to bilot, then the name changed from bilot to "bilot Sharif"
i've claimed above that Hindu cultured palace (kafar kot) is still in bilot sharif, and with this; there is also a Hindu temple on the other side of bilot sharif village near peer shah eisa govt: Degree collage for boys. this temple is on the name of Hindu bhagwan "raam" which called the "thalla satti keval raam" in local traditional language. a great mob of Hindu tourists gathered here every year (13-14-15 April) on their religious occasion of "besakhi" to offer their sacred praxis.
