Billy Longer is a professional Australian rules football player at the St Kilda Football Club. He was recruited with pick #8 in the 2011 National Draft, having played as a ruckman for the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup.[1] He made his debut in Round 3, against Fremantle.
After two years and nine senior games, Longer announced that he wanted to return to Melbourne to live, he said he missed his family and friends and sought a trade. He expressed an interest in playing for St Kilda,[2] and was traded, along with pick 48, for picks 25 and 41.[3]
