Bilandapur is a census town under Mograhat police station of Diamond Harbour subdivision in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1]
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[2] Bilandapur had a population of 5722. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Bilandapur has an average literacy rate of 48%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 54% and female literacy of 43%. 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
