Bilal Maqsood (Urdu: بلال مقصود) is the son of popular writer, actor, artist, and comedian Anwar Maqsood, and is a member of the very popular Pakistani pop band Strings. He has also directed a number of music videos. For Bilal and his band Strings, success came in 1992 after the launch of the song Sar Kiye Yeh Pahar, the song was an instant hit and so was Strings. Strings made its entry into the Bollywood music scene in 2006.
