The Bi-Autogo was a prototype American motorcycle, built in 1913.[1][2]
Designed and built by Detroit artist & engineer James Scripps Booth,[3] it had the usual two wheels (37 in. {94 cm}, spoked wooden ones), plus two pairs of smaller, retractable outrigger wheels (an idea that has resurfaced since) in the three-seater body.[3] Fitted with wheel steering,[3] it had a 45 hp (33.5 kW) V8 engine (3.5"x5", 384.8in3, 6.3Li),[3] the first of its kind from a Detroit company,[4] with an external copper tube radiator, and a weight of 3,200-lb (1451 kg).[4] Just one was built. It is on display at the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Owls Head, Maine.
