The Biçerova Railway Station (Turkish: Biçerova İstasyonu) is a railway station currently under renovation. The station is closed to passenger traffic since 2006 but will reopen for the İZBAN commuter rail system.[1] The station was built in 1996 along with the double track branch to Aliağa. From 1996 to 2006, a twice daily regional train serviced the station, operating between İzmir and Aliağa. The station tracks are now used as a yard for freight cars. The planned reopening is October 29, 2010.
