Bhuyanpur (Bengali: ভূঞাপুর) is an Upazila of Tangail District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Geography
Bhuapur is located at 24°27′30″N 89°52′00″E / 24.4583°N 89.8667°E . It has 32145 units of house hold and total area 225.02 km².
Demographics
As of 1991 Bangladesh census Bhuyanpur has a population of 177095. Males constitute 51.65% of the population, and females 48.35%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 87854. Bhuyanpur has an average literacy rate of 29.9% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
