Bhopalpatnam is a tehsil, revenue division and development block in Bijapur district, Chattisgarh, India.[1] It is also ferry break point of Jagdalpur-Nizamabad highway where one has to take boat to cross the river Indravati. The National Highway 202 begins here and connects to Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh but there is ferry break on River Godavari, near Tupakulagudem in Andhra-Chattisgarh border. There are 30 village panchayats in Bhopalpatnam.[2]
Bhopalpatnam town lies 47 km west of the district headquarters in Bijapur.
