Bhimeswar is a town and urban municipality in Dolakha District in the Janakpur Zone of north-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 21,916.[1] The major settlement is Charikot.

To Promote local culture Bhimeshwor has one Community radio Stations, they are Sailung - 104 MHZ and Radio Kalinchowk - 106.4 MHz.
