Bhalothia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bhalothia is Gotra (clan) of Jats found in Rajasthan and Haryana originated from village Bhaloth in district Jhunjhunu of Rajasthan in India. The village was named after great warrior Bhal.[citation needed] They are considered to be the descendants of Jangu. [1]
The surname "Bhalotia" or "Bhalothia" is also used by people whose ancestors lived in Dhani Bhaloth (village Bhaloth). They may or may not be Jats. For example, a small population of Marwaris and Agarwals also uses the surname.
