Bestie (Hangul: 베스티, stylized as BESTie) is a four-member South Korean girl group under YNB Entertainment. The group consists of UJi, Hyeyeon and Haeryung, who are all former members of the girl group EXID, as well as Dahye. Bestie made their official debut on July 11, 2013, with the release of "Pitapat".

History

Pre-debut

Hyeyeon, UJi and Haeryung originally debuted in AB Entertainment's girl group EXID. With EXID, they released the single "Whoz That Girl". The three members promoted with the group for two months, then ultimately took their leave for personal reasons.[1]

2013: Debut, Love Options & Zzang Christmas

Bestie debuted on July 11, 2013, with the release of "Pitapat".[2] The group held their debut live performance on KBS Music Bank on July 12, 2013.

On October 16, 2013, a music video for Bestie's second single, "Love Options", was released.[3] The group held their comeback stage the same day on Mnet's M! Countdown.

On December 12, 2013, it was announced that BESTie would be releasing "Zzang Christmas", a Christmas themed digital single, on December 17, 2013.[4]
