Besisahar is the capital of Lamjung District in Gandaki Zone, Nepal.[1] CHESS Nepal is based in Besisahar. It is a start point of famous Annapurna Circuit tourist route.
At the time of the 2001 Nepal census it had a population of 5427.[2]
