Bertha Island

Bertha Island (67°23′S 59°39′E / 67.383°S 59.650°ECoordinates: 67°23′S 59°39′E / 67.383°S 59.650°E) is an island 2.5 nautical miles (5 km) long, lying 1 nautical mile (2 km) south of Islay at the east side of William Scoresby Bay. It was discovered and named in February 1936 by Discovery Investigations personnel on the William Scoresby.[1]
