Bermo is a census town in the Bokaro district of the state of Jharkhand, India.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Bermo had a population of 80,956. Males constituted 53% of the population and females 47%. Bermo has an average literacy rate of 65%, the national average of 59.5%; with 70% of the males and 60% of females literate. 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Hospitals
The three main hospitals in Bermo are the Regional hospital of Dhori, the regional hospital of Kargali, and the hospital of Gandhi Nagar. Many government and private hospitals are also located nearby, such as the D.V.C Bermo Mines dispensary, near the Bermo Mines.
Economy
