Berislavići Grabarski

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Berislavić family of Graberje (Croatian: Berislavići Grabarski, also known as Berislavići Doborski), was a Croatian noble family in the Požega County of Slavonia.[1]

Origin

The founder was a "Berislav from Dubovik" (Berislav od Dubovika, fl. 1250).

Some historians believe that Ban Borić of Bosnia (r. 1154 – After 1167) was an ancestor of the family.[2]

  • Franjo Berislavić (d. 1517), Ban of Jajce[1]
  • Ivaniš Berislavić (d. 1514), Despot of Serbia 1504-1514, Ban of Jajce 1511-1513[1]
