Berdychiv District (Raion) (Ukrainian: Бердичівський район) is a raion (district) of Zhytomyr Oblast, northern Ukraine. Its administrative centre is located at Berdychiv. The raion covers an area of 865.2 square kilometres and as of 2011 it had a population of 29,551 people.

Natural tourist objects

Social-historical tourist objects
In the village Terekhove there is the museum of one of the greatest English-language novelists Joseph Conrad, the park and official apartments which belonged to the family of a writer were saved. On September, 27,of 2007 to the 150th anniversary of Conrad on the building of school a memorial plaque was founded . Archaeological sights are presented by Raykovetskyi site of ancient settlement of neolith period (state value). In 30-50th and the years of 20th century excavations were conducted by the well-known archaeologists T. Movchanivskyi, V. Kurinnyi, V.Goncharov, V. Misiats, G. Bogun and others. The sights of chernyakhivska culture were found by the researcher G.Bogun near-by the villages of Markusha and Slobodyshche. In 60-70-th years of the 20th century large searching work was carried out by the known Ukrainian researcher G.Bogun. On his grave (s. Bistrik) a monument is built. Among the sights of architecture: an ensemble of Ioann Bogoslov church and the bell towers (second half of the 17th century) and complex of school apartments (the beginning of the 20th century) in the village Skraglivka, the church of Christmas of Virgin (1775) in the village Ozadivka, the church of Christmas of Virgin and water-mill in the village Shvaykivka (both the 19th century), the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross (the end of 19th century) in the village Staryi Solotvyn.
