Benjamin Whitaker (politician)

Benjamin "Ben" Charles George Whitaker (born 15 September 1934) is a retired British Labour Party politician.
Education
He was educated at Eton and New College, Oxford where he obtained a BA in Modern History.[1]
Career
He was elected at the 1966 general election as Member of Parliament (MP) for the normally Conservative seat of Hampstead. At the 1970 general election, he was defeated by the Conservative Geoffrey Finsberg.
From 1969 to 1970, he was Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Overseas Development.
