Benjamin "Ben" Gluck is an American director, screenwriter, storyboard artist, producer, and actor. He is best known for co-creating Alpha and Omega, along with Steve Moore.

Biography

Gluck was born in Missouri. He started his career by directing the animated short Man's Best Friend, which premiered on MTV and won the Walter Lantz Award as well as the New York Independent Animation Award for best animated short and toured in Spike and Mike's Twisted Animation Festival. Ben then worked at Walt Disney Feature Animation as a story artist on such feature films as Dinosaur, The Emperor's New Groove, and Home on the Range. He served as head of story on Bambi 2 and directed Brother Bear 2, which was nominated for an Annie Award.

In 2006 Gluck served as head of story on 9 produced by Focus Features and Tim Burton. He directed Alpha and Omega a 3-D computer animated feature; this film was India's first full length animated feature film to be released in the US, and it ranks as Lionsgate's highest-grossing animated feature to date.

Gluck received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in character animation from the California Institute of the Arts.
