Bemina

Bemina is a region in Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir, India.
History
Interestingly, the old name of Bemina was Judea. After the Muslims conquers came in it. They changed the name of Judea to Bemina.[1] This is situated in the heart of the capital of Jammu and Kashmir just about 4 km from Lal Chowk. Bemina is also considered as the major growing colony of Asia. Prominent schools of the state i.e, Iqra Educational Institute and Iqbal Memorial Institute are located in this area.
