The Belvidere School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade from Belvidere in Warren County, New Jersey, United States.

Students from Harmony Township, Hope Township, and White Township attend Belvidere High School as part of sending/receiving relationships.[3]

As of the 2010-11 school year, the district's three schools had an enrollment of 525 students and 75.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.94:1.[1]

The district participates in the Interdistrict Public School Choice Program, having been approved on July 14, 2000, to participate in the program.[4] Seats in the program for non-resident students are specified by the district and are allocated by lottery, with tuition paid for participating students by the New Jersey Department of Education.[5]

The district has a nine-member Board of Education, with one additional member from each of the three sending districts.[6]

The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[7]
