Being Lara Bingle is an Australian reality television series that premiered on 12 June 2012 on Network Ten.[1][2] The series follows the misadventures of model and socialite Lara Bingle.[3]

Network Ten has yet to commission a second season of the series but stated that "It is still on the table," and that is under serious consideration.[4]

In April 2013, Network Ten announced that 'the extreme youth focus that led to programs like The Shire and Being Lara Bingle being commissioned is not quite right for us' and that Ten will now move on from that focus into more drama, it is unsure if Being Lara Bingle will return in the future because of this move.[5]

In May 2013, Lara stated that Ten "(They) have asked me to do it again, later in the year when my designs and my brand come out." while Ten have stated "nothing planned at this stage"[6]

Ratings

The series aired in the 8:00 pm–8:30 pm timelot on Tuesday. Ratings aggregated by OzTam subsequent to the premiere of the series indicate that the premiere episode received an estimated viewership of 925,000 viewers, reaching a peak of 1.3 million during the episode.[7]
