Beckingen is a municipality in the district Merzig-Wadern, in Saarland, Germany. It is situated on the river Saar, approx. 7 km southeast of Merzig, and 30 km northwest of Saarbrücken.
Overview
There is an old train station ruin and in summer there are lots of festivals. The temperature there reaches 40 degrees Celsius in summer.
