Beaufort Co-operative Academy is a mixed-gender school located in Tuffley, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England. Beaufort is an 11 to 18 mixed foundation comprehensive school maintained by Gloucestershire County Council. The number of pupils currently attending is approximately 1,200. Principal David Bishop joined Beaufort in 2012, during the new academic year, taking over from Malcolm Bride. After only a year of being principal, Bishop has made significant changes to the school. Changes include a new uniform and a fence around the school. Twenty-four teachers left the school in 2013.
Since 1st October 2013, Beaufort Community School is called Beaufort Co-operative Academy. The new school motto is now "Our", as opposed to "Caritas et Veritas".

2012 Ofsted inspection
The school was inspected by Ofsted on 19 and 20 October 2012.[1] Overall effectiveness was rated as inadequate of a four point scale of outstanding, good, satisfactory and inadequate. After the report, HMI Inspectors have been regularly inspecting the school to make sure it boosts its standards.
