BeGeistert

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BeGeistert is a semiannual BeOS users conference. In recent years, it has however become a developers conference for both Haiku and ZETA.

The conference has been held in Düsseldorf, Germany, every April and October, excepting its first outing in December 1998.

The 14th BeGeistert was held in Düsseldorf on April 2-3, 2005.

The standard organisation of the event, in recent years, has involved a demonstration by one of the European BeOS software vendors, such as YellowBites, along with a coding demonstration, and a demonstration by one or both of Haiku and YellowTAB. Other events vary year to year.

In the past, coding challenges at the event have produced the first localisable version of OpenTracker.
