Batrachedra | |
Batrachedridae is a small family of moths. These are small, slender moths which rest with the wings wrapped tightly around the body. The taxonomy of this and related groups is often disputed. It was long thought to contain two genera, Batrachedra (many species) and Houdinia (a single species, Houdinia flexilissima from New Zealand and surrounding islands).[1]
Recently, other genera have been assigned to the family. These include:
- Chedra Hodges, 1966
- Corythangela Meyrick, 1897
- Duospina Hodges, 1966
- Homaledra Busck, 1900
- Ifeda Hodges, 1966
