Batken Airport (Kyrgyz: Баткен аэропорту, Russian: Баткенский аэропорт) (IATA: none (БАТ), ICAO: UAFB) is an airport serving Batken, a town in the Batken Province (oblast) of Kyrgyzstan. The Russian IATA code for Batken Airport is БАТ. [2]
Batken Airport started its operations in 1940s as a landing strip. The current runway and terminal were built in 1984. It is a regional class 3C airport. The runway has a weight limit of 22 tonnes, and has no instrument landing facilities and operates only during daylight hours.
Batken Airport has no customs and border control checks and serves only flights within Kyrgyzstan. There are occasional flights to Osh, Jalal-Abad and even to nearby Isfana.
