Bathgate Academy is a secondary school in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland. Approximately 1,000 students are taught from ages 11–18, serving the needs of several communities including Blackburn and some communities outwith the catchment area such as Livingston.
History
Established by John Newlands in the mid-18th century, the school was originally located on Marjoribanks Street. This building was taken over by West Lothian College in the 1960s, when the school moved to its current location. The Academy was also used as annex to Balbardie Primary School in the 1960's and 70's.

- John McIntyre, Professor of Divinity and Principal of New College in the University of Edinburgh, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, and Dean of the Thistle
