Basilisk Games is an independent video game company based in Indianapolis, Indiana[1] that develops video games for the Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux platforms.[2] Currently specializing in role-playing games,[3] the company released its first title Eschalon: Book 1 in 2007. The company consists of one full-time employee, Thomas Riegsecker, as well as several contract employees.[4]

A third game titled Eschalon: Book III is expected, as well as a free expansion to Book II titled Secrets Of Fathamurk.[5] Basilisk is also developing a science fiction role-playing game that will utilize a new game engine.[6]
