Barura (Bengali: বরুড়া) is an Upazila of Comilla District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.[1]
Geography
Barura is located at 23°22′30″N 91°03′30″E / 23.3750°N 91.0583°E . It has 52851 units of house hold and total area 241.65 km².
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Barura had a population of 310778.[2]
