Bartosze [barˈtɔʂɛ] (German: Bartossen (1938-45:Bartendorf)) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ełk, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) west of Ełk and 117 km (73 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 190.
