Baron Tryon

Baron Tryon, of Durnford in the County of Wiltshire, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1940 for the Conservative politician George Tryon. He was the son of the naval commander Vice-Admiral Sir George Tryon. As of 2010 the title is held by the first Baron's grandson, the third Baron, who succeeded his father in 1976.

The heir apparent is the present holder's son the Hon. Charles George Barrington Tryon (b. 1976),; he is a godson of the Prince of Wales and a former Page of Honour to Queen Elizabeth II.
