Baron Mountevans

Baron Mountevans, of Chelsea in the County of London,[1] is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1945 for the naval commander and Antarctic explorer, Sir Edward Evans. As of 2011 the title is held by his grandson, the third Baron, who succeeded his father in 1974.

The heir presumptive is the present holder's younger brother the Honourable Jeffrey Richard de Corban Evans (b. 1948)[2]
