Barlinek [barˈlʲinɛk] (German: Berlinchen) is a town in Poland, in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in Myślibórz County. It has 14,162 inhabitants (2009).

The first written mention about the town is from 1278 ("Nova Berlyn"). In the first half of the 15th century, the town, situated in the Neumark region, was under control of the Teutonic Knights. Before and after, the Neumark was part of Brandenburg, which from 1701 on belonged to Prussia. After the Second World War, the town and the eastern part of Brandenburg were annexed by Poland. It is the birthplace of Emanuel Lasker (1868-1941), the second World Chess Champion.
