Bariano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) east of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) south of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,225 and an area of 7.0 square kilometres (2.7 sq mi).[1]
Bariano borders the following municipalities: Caravaggio, Fara Olivana con Sola, Fornovo San Giovanni, Morengo, Pagazzano, Romano di Lombardia.
