Barbara De Wolfe

Barbara Blanchard De Wolfe (May 14, 1912 – May 2, 2008[1]) was an American ornithologist known for her pioneering studies of avian life history and physiology, and especially her work on the White-crowned Sparrow. She was the (1995) recipient of the Cooper Ornithological Society’s Loye and Alden Miller Research Award, which is given in recognition of lifetime achievement in ornithological research.[2]
