Bankya Peak

Location of Davis Coast on the Antarctic Peninsula.

Bankya Peak (Bulgarian: връх Банкя, ‘Vrah Bankya’ \'vr&h 'ban-kya\) is the peak rising to 840 m in Korten Ridge east of Lanchester Bay and west of Sabine Glacier on Davis Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica.

The peak is named after the town of Bankya in western Bulgaria.

Location

Bankya Peak is located at 63°53′19″S 59°53′23″W / 63.88861°S 59.88972°W / -63.88861; -59.88972Coordinates: 63°53′19″S 59°53′23″W / 63.88861°S 59.88972°W / -63.88861; -59.88972, which is 5.28 km south-southeast of Wennersgaard Point, 6km northeast of Milkov Point, 4.36 km north of Chanute Peak and 6.55 km west-northwest of Velichkov Knoll.
