Bangladesh–Tanzania relations
Bangladesh and Tanzania hold cordial relations with cooperations in the fields of social development, agriculture and education.
Social development
Because of Bangladesh's recent social development progress, Tanzania has been sending its delegations to Bangladesh for learning effective ways in solving its many social issues which are common with Bangladesh.[1] Several Bangladeshi NGOs including BRAC are operating in Tanzania, predominantly in the areas of microfinance.[2]
Cooperation in agricultural sector
Several Bangladeshi companies have leased out unused cultivable lands in Tanzania for commercial farming in regards to Bangladesh government's future food security plans.[3]
Cooperation in education
University of Dhaka and University of Dar es Salaam have signed an MoU and have been carrying joint collaborative initiatives in the areas of higher education and research.[4][5]
